Rakhee Ippili was born in India and migrated to U.S.A in 2006 . She is a physician by profession and is often occupied with patient care. During the long years of learning the 'art' of medicine she often pondered about her restrained desire to paint. She retook painting immediately upon graduating from a hectic residency program in internal medicine. What started off as a hobby that she had left behind as a child has now blossomed into a passion and a promising career. Her geographic location in New York City only expedited and augmented her zeal to create art as she was exposed to and profoundly influenced by the work of artists from all around the world.
She found her calling in abstract art and plans to pursue representing her version of basic elements of nature to satiate basic human senses, all while pursuing her other true love - medicine. She works with a wide variety of mediums. Still a novice in the field of professional art, she aims to exhibit her artwork at shows with extensive coverage and hopes to have an art gallery of her own in the future.
She is a practicing physician and is board certified in Internal Medicine. She currently resides in Westchester, NY with her husband and a nine-year old son.
